One of the teams from the TSI Business Incubator iDEAHUB – “Sarnav” presented its research at the RelStat 2026 International Conference.
Representing the team, Abderrahman Kaissi, 2nd year student of the bachelor’s programme Aviation Engineering presented the research paper “Aerodynamic Interactions and Flight Dynamics of Over-Actuated eVTOL Aircraft in Transition Flight: A Design Study for the SARNAV-1 Search and Rescue UAV Project.”
The SARNAV project aims to develop an unmanned aerial vehicle solution for search and rescue needs. The solution involves the use of a fixed-wing UAV platform, optical and thermal cameras, telemetry and artificial intelligence elements for human detection under controlled validation conditions.
